Overview

The Meetings & Events Operations Assistant will support the seamless execution of global meetings and events during the maternity leave of the Meetings & Events Operations Lead. This role requires close collaboration with the M&E Global Lead to coordinate day-to-day operations ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality standards. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial due to varying scope, timing, complexity, and nature of tasks.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare event approval decks and track approvals.
  • Review and advance meeting request forms in Cvent and handle planner/customer correspondence as needed.
  • Manage M&E Market Monthly calls including drafting potential agenda items.
  • Perform ventures & acquisitions exception checks.
  • Request and manage external conference lists and approved attendee lists.
  • Maintain mobility dashboards and generate reports as required.
  • Handle reporting requests and perform quarterly site link checks.
  • Coordinate taskforce leads touchpoints and manage taskforce swap surveys.
  • Conduct data privacy checks on M&E files.
  • Estimate costs related to hotels, airfare, and tiered city travel using air estimate calculators.


Professional & Technical Skills

  • Ability to analyze and solve moderately complex problems by creating or adapting solutions.
  • Understand strategic directions from senior management aligned with team goals.
  • Primary interaction with supervisors, team leads, peers, and management at Accenture or client side.
  • Requires minimal guidance for new assignments and decision-making authority at team level.
  • Decisions impact the immediate team and occasionally other teams.
  • Responsible for managing medium to small teams or work efforts within the client or Accenture environment.
